Late Post, fished Saturday 10-2 at South Pass with my cousin Mike Strohmeyer. We jumped four Tarpon tagging and releasing three of them, the fourth fish escaped after one jump. All action occurred from a half to one mile from South Pass lighthouse in 50 to 60 feet of water.

We fished with the m/v Desperado and the m/v Sea Force both boats caught Tarpon but we left early so never got a final tally of their fish. Reports indicate that the Tarpon are still at Southwest Pass and Northeast Pass when conditions allow boats to fish there. As for now with the strong North wind, South Pass remains marginally fishable.
