Look for the Lighthouse on the right hand side of Highway 23, as you arrive in Venice. Better yet, call or stop by, the staff is always friendly. The owners are the same Strohmeyers with the furniture store in Gretna serving New Orleans for nearly 30 years.
Be sure to ask about the best fishing charter captains for yellow fin tuna, tarpon, dolphin, wahoo, kingfish, redfish, and seatrout. Be sure to enjoy the finest fresh shrimp and oysters to be found anywhere.
